The Dallas Symphony Orchestra Guild is a group of classical music lovers who are dedicated to deepening their knowledge and appreciation of classical music. That is our bond. We are from all walks of life, know each other on a first name basis and greet one another at the Symphony, the Guild and other musical events. Sharing the music we love with friends makes it a more meaningful experience.
The Dallas Symphony Orchestra Guild presents five Luncheon and five Evening programs each season. Guild programs are generally small and intimate in nature, with plenty of chances to meet and speak directly with our guest musicians, composers, and conductors. These programs are designed to enrich the participants’ knowledge and appreciation of classical music.
The Guild serves as a financial support group for the DSO by holding fund-raising events each year. Proceeds from our events provide funding for the DSO's Performance Preludes pre-concert lecture series and for the Bach's Lunch free educational programs available on various Fridays at the Meyerson. We also provide direct support for the general operations of Dallas Symphony Association and to DSO musicians.
The DSO GUILD GALA
The Gala is the primary fund raising event for the DSO Guild that underwrites the music education programs sponsored by the Guild each year.
The 2019 DSO GUILD GALA, featuring volinist Karen Gomyo, will be held March 3rd at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas. Details on our GALA page.
